Wade LeBlanc Posting 4.58 Second-Half ERA
6 years agoSeattle Mariners starter Wade LeBlanc will try and shut down the A's on Thursday night in Oakland. LeBlanc has opened up some eyes this season as a capable starter but has struggled in the second half of the season. After going 5-1 with a 3.63 ERA in the first half of the season, LeBlanc is 2-2 with a 4.58 ERA in seven starts since. His WHIP is almost identical during these two stretches (1.17) and has been much more effective as a starter than reliever this season. LeBlanc has enjoyed his most success pitching at night and is 6-2 with a 3.17 ERA in 18 night starts with a 1.07 WHIP. It is hard to justify picking up LeBlanc right now in fantasy.
