Tyler Conklin Back At Practice Thursday
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings tight end Tyler Conklin (glute, elbow) returned to a limited practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. It's a good sign that Conklin will be able to play in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns after he went off for seven catches, 70 yards and a touchdown in the Week 3 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Keep an eye on his final injury designation on Friday. If the 26-year-old is limited in any way or sits out entirely, Chris Herndon and Ben Ellefson would see the field more often. Conklin is the only Vikings tight end to be targeted through three games. He has caught 13 passes on 16 targets for 126 yards and one touchdown. Conklin is on the rise after his big Week 3 performance, but he remains more of a touchdown-dependent TE2.
