7 months agoBoston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask faced just 13 shots in Tuesday's win against the New York Islanders and he was equal to the task on every one of them for his fourth shutout of the season. It was the 45th shutout of his career, but his first-ever against the Islanders. That's rather surprising since the B's have won seven straight meetings against the Islanders, and each of their past eight trips to Long Island. Rask and Jaroslav Halak have been alternating goals with great success for head coach Bruce Cassidy, so look for Halak to be back between the pipes Thursday in New Jersey, with Rask likely back in action Saturday in Florida.--Daniel E.
