3 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers have lost four games in a row heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Chicago Bears, and quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo struggled badly in a Week 7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. With rookie first-rounder Trey Lance (knee) returning from a sprained knee this week, he could be on the field in a key role very soon if Garoppolo continues to struggle and the team continues to lose, according to sources. In a perfect world, Lance would sit all year and learn behind Garoppolo, but the team could make a change sooner than later if Garoppolo continues to struggle. Lance, the No. 3 overall pick, has more upside than Jimmy G from a fantasy perspective, and fantasy managers may want to consider stashing him now if you have the room if your QB situation isn't ideal.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
