Trey Burton's Stock Continues To Plummet
5 years agoChicago Bears tight end Trey Burton caught only three passes for 16 yards in the Bears Week 5 loss to the Raiders in London. Even if backup quarterback Chase Daniel was not under center, Burton simply looks lost in the shuffle on offense. The scheme no longer has Burton as a focal point and the veteran has lost targets to backup tight ends J.P. Holtz and Adam Shaheen. Burton will head into the team's bye week with only 11 catches on the season for 57 yards through four games played.
