Trevor Story Sitting Against Twins
Trevor Story will take a seat on the bench for Sunday's series finale at Fenway Park against the visiting Minnesota Twins. With Story sitting, David Hamilton will start at shortstop and bat seventh against Twins right-hander Chris Paddack. It will be Story's first game sitting since April 20. The 32-year-old veteran has tailed off a bit offensively of late, going 9-for-50 in the last 12 games. The former first-rounder by the Colorado Rockies in 2011 is now hitting .267/.308/.393 on the season with a .700 OPS, five home runs, 16 RBI, 16 runs scored and seven stolen bases. As long as he stays healthy, which is a big if, Story should be a decent middle-infield contributor in deep-mixed fantasy leagues. Hamilton represents a low-upside DFS sleeper near the bottom of the lineup without much power. He's gone 7-for-41 (.171) in a bench role in 2025 with a homer, three RBI and five stolen bases.
