Travis Jankowski Could Return Tuesday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Travis Jankowski, who was placed on the COVID-19 injured list on Sunday, is feeling better and could rejoin the team on Tuesday. Jankowski was feeling under the weather but did not test positive for the coronavirus. The 30-year-old speedster had been seeing regular playing time for the Phillies of late, so there's a good chance he's back in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals. Jankowski has gone 18-for-57 (.316) with a .409 on-base percentage, one home run, seven RBI and four stolen bases in his limited action with the Phillies in 2021. He's really only useful for his speed in NL-only leagues, but it remains to be seen if he'll remain a lineup regular.
