Tony Pollard Has Torn Plantar Fascia, To Be Game-Time Decision
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard (foot) said that he tore his left plantar fascia on his long touchdown run against the New Orleans Saints last Thursday night and added that he'll be a "game-time decision" on Sunday against the Washington Football Team. Pollard missed the team's first practice session on Wednesday, and we'll keep a close eye on his practice participation the rest of the week. He was on a side field rehabbing his foot in full pads on Thursday. The good news is that Dallas' game is early Sunday morning, so fantasy managers will know early on whether Pollard will be active or not. He has seen more touches in recent weeks with the Cowboys lightening a hobbled Ezekiel Elliott's (knee) load. Dallas' backfield is much more murky with both backs nursing injuries now.
