Tony Pollard Away For Personal Reasons
Tony Pollard missed practice for a personal reason on Thursday, but a source close to him isn't concerned. It sounds as if Pollard should return on Friday and be good to go for Week 4 against the undefeated Carolina Panthers. The 24-year-old is still playing second fiddle to lead back Ezekiel Elliott in Dallas, but he's carved out some standalone fantasy value as a flex option in deeper leagues so far in 2021. Pollard has played just 31.5 percent of the offensive snaps through three games, but that has translated to 27 rushing attempts for 183 yards and a touchdown. He's also seen one more target (eight) than Elliott and has caught all eight targets for 65 additional yards. If Zeke were to go down at any point, Pollard would be extremely valuable to fantasy managers.
