Tommy Pham Hit By Pitch, Leaves Game
Tommy Pham (wrist) left the game early in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday after being hit by a pitch on the right wrist. Pham was hitless with a strikeout in two plate appearances before leaving. The Rays are saying it's not out of the question that Pham will play in the second game of the doubleheader, so it doesn't appear to be a serious injury. Pham is hitting a solid .288/.404/.462 with eight home runs, 26 runs, 25 RBI and six steals. He's valuable in all fantasy leagues for his contributions across all categories, but injuries have been his issue in his major league career.
