Tom Brady Comes Up Short In Loss
6 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady completed 25 of 36 passes for 279 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Patriots 17-10 loss to the Steelers. This mediocre fantasy performance for the future Hall of Famer can mostly be chalked up to missed opportunities. Brady threw a crucial interception in the red zone and then drove the team down the field to tie the game with minutes to play but failed to find the end zone. The Patriots leaned heavily on their running game and hoped to take their shots downfield when they could. Brady connected early with receiver Chris Hogan for a 63-yard touchdown but now has thrown one or fewer touchdowns in seven games this season. Brady is still a top-10 player in the league but has not been a top-10 fantasy performer this season. Brady will have a tough matchup in Week 16 against a Bills defense that is allowing the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season and Brady failed to throw a touchdown against them in Week 8.
