Tim Patrick Good To Go For Week 3
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (hip) practiced in full on Friday and was taken off the final injury report for Week 3 against the New York Jets. Patrick stepped up in a big way for the Broncos last year with Courtland Sutton out most of the year with a torn ACL, and he's doing the same through two games in 2021 with seven catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns. This time, it's second-year pass-catcher Jerry Jeudy (ankle) missing time due to injury, and Patrick was the beneficiary in Week 2. The 27-year-old runs shorter routes than KJ Hamler, but he should be a safer flex play in deeper leagues and is one of the team's better red-zone options. Patrick will hope to extend his touchdown streak to three games and will be a touchdown-dependent flex for fantasy managers.
