Tim Patrick Finds The End Zone For Second Straight Week
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick found paydirt for the second straight week to open the season in the 23-13 Week 2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road. Patrick caught three of his four targets for 37 yards and the touchdown, which was a 12-yard hookup. The 27-year-old was tied for third on the team in targets on the day with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) out. Patrick was the most consistent pass-catcher for the Broncos in 2020 when Courtland Sutton missed most of the year with a knee injury, and he's proving once again why he's so valuable to the team. Speedy deep threat KJ Hamler has more big-play upside, but Patrick is a useful red-zone option and has a higher floor as a deep-league flex play.
