Tim Patrick Enters The Starting Lineup
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick could be the primary beneficiary of the Jerry Jeudy high-ankle sprain. Patrick was second among Denver's wideouts with a 70 percent snap percentage in the season-opening win over the New York Giants, and he hauled in all four of his targets for 39 yards and a touchdown. The 27-year-old was the Broncos leading receiver and most consistent pass-catching target in 2020 when Courtland Sutton tore his ACL in Week 2. Don't think the Broncos coaching staff has forgotten about that. He'll be starting in three-wide sets alongside Sutton and second-year receiver KJ Hamler. Hamler has more big-play potential because of his speed, but Patrick could be more consistent for those in PPR leagues. Patrick is rostered in just 22 percent of Yahoo leagues, but he's worth a pickup if you're struggling at the position. He'll be in play as a WR4/flex against Jacksonville.
