Tim Patrick 2023 Player Outlook: Another Lost Season Due To Injury
2 years agoThe 2022 season was a lost one for Denver Broncos pass-catcher Tim Patrick after he suffered a torn ACL in training camp last August. Unfortunately for Patrick and the Broncos offense, he'll miss a second straight season after tearing his Achilles in training camp. Patrick posted back-to-back 700-plus receiving yards, 50-plus receptions and 11 total touchdowns in 2020 and 2021, so the Broncos will certainly miss him again as the No. 3 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton as they attempt to bounce back in quarterback Russell Wilson's second year in Denver. Fantasy managers can obviously cross Patrick off their draft-day cheat sheets in 2023. He'll turn 30 this November and will probably have lost a few steps when he attempts to return again in 2024. KJ Hamler continues to deal with injuries, so rookie Marvin Mims Jr. could have the inside track to a starting gig in three-receiver sets right away in his first NFL season.
