Ottawa Senators defenseman Thomas Chabot picked up an assist in his team's 5-2 victory over the visiting Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. The 21-year-old was playing in his first game back after missing the previous eight contests due to an upper-body injury. Chabot is in the midst of an electrifying sophomore season in the NHL and has positioned himself as perhaps the most valuable fantasy acquisition of the year thus far with 39 points (10 goals, 29 assists) in 39 games. Despite missing time to the aforementioned injury, Chabot is currently tied for sixth in NHL scoring for defensemen. He's evolved into a must-start fantasy option and will look to find the scoresheet yet again in his next game against the Hurricanes on Friday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
