Tevin Coleman Won't Play Against Broncos
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Tevin Coleman (illness) was a full practice participant on Friday, but he was ultimately ruled out for Week 3 against the Denver Broncos with a non-COVID-19 illness. Coleman saw just 9.6 percent of the snaps in the Week 2 loss against the New England Patriots, with Michael Carter and Ty Johnson both getting 45.2 percent of the snaps. With Coleman out this weekend, Carter and Johnson should once again split the backfield workload. Carter is the more attractive upside back, but in this offense against a Broncos defense that has allowed just 87 rushing yards and no touchdowns through two weeks, it's hard to recommend any Jets running back as even an RB3/flex in deeper formats.
