Carolina Hurricanes winger Teuvo Teravainen broke his hand in Wednesday's Game 2 against the Islanders and has been ruled out for the rest of the first-round series. He was hurt in the third period when Islanders forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau slashed Teravainen on the hand. The Finnish forward is scheduled for surgery Thursday. Losing Teravainen is another blow for the Hurricanes attack which has already been without Andrei Svechnikov (knee) and Max Pacioretty (Achilles). Jesse Puljujarvi is in line to join the lineup in Teravainen's absence.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
