Terry McLaurin In Walking Boot
4 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Terry McLaurin (ankle) is in a walking boot because of his high-ankle sprain, according to head coach Ron Rivera. McLaurin was kept out of the lineup in the Week 16 loss to the Panthers. Washington could really use the 25-year-old pass-catcher in the lineup for a must-win Week 17 game against the division-rival Eagles, but there's a good chance he won't be able to return. McLaurin has been a must-start fantasy wideout in his second season with 80 receptions (126 targets) for 1,078 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games played. Running back J.D. McKissic led the team in receiving on Sunday, catching eight of 10 targets for 77 yards and a touchdown, with tight end Logan Thomas seeing a team-high 12 targets. Cam Sims will remain the top wideout if McLaurin misses another game, but he'll be hard to trust as a WR4/flex, especially if quarterback Alex Smith (calf) misses another game.
