Teddy Bridgewater Dealing With MCL Sprain
4 years agoUpdating a previous report, Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) suffered an MCL sprain in the Week 10 loss to the division-rival Buccaneers, according to a source. Bridgewater is considered day-to-day and has a chance to play in Week 11 against the Lions. The 28-year-old threw for under 200 yards but tossed two touchdown passes and ran for another score, so his fantasy day wasn't a complete bust after leaving the game with the knee injury in the fourth quarter. He'll have a bounce-back opportunity against a shaky Lions Defense this weekend if he's able to suit up, but fantasy managers will need to monitor his practice status closely throughout the week. P.J. Walker came on in relief of Bridgewater on Sunday and would likely get the start against Detroit if Bridgewater cannot play.
