Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tavon Young agreed to take a $2.85 million pay cut in 2021 in order to give the team some much-needed salary cap space going into next season, according to a source. Young has only played in one full game since he signed his three-year, $25.8 million extension before the 2019 season, which at the time made him the league's highest-paid nickelback. Baltimore converted $2.514 million of his base salary for this year into a signing bonus. The Ravens had only $1.5 million in cap space in 2020. The 26-year-old also agreed to have his non-guaranteed $5.5 million salary reduced to $2.65 million in 2021. Young missed all of 2019 with a neck injury and suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 2 of this year. He's currently on Injured Reserve.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
