Tanner Roark Earns Another Quality Start, Another Loss on Tuesday
7 years agoWashington Nationals starter Tanner Roark found no help from his offense on Tuesday night, as he ended up on the losing side of a 3-0 shutout against the Yankees. Roark threw his 10th quality start of the season, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks over six innings while striking out five. Two of the three runs Roark allowed came off a pair of Didi Gregorius home runs, and he has now allowed four home runs over his last 12 1/3 innings of work. Despite the uptick in home runs, Roark remains a higher-end streaming option going forward. His next start will be at home when he takes on the Yankees again.
