Stefon Diggs Cleared for Training Camp
Stefon Diggs (knee) has been fully cleared for the start of Patriots' training camp, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini. Diggs tore his ACL last October after he had 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns in eight games with Houston. The 31-year-old receiver was more productive with four straight seasons over 1,000 receiving yards with the Bills prior to being dealt to the Texans. After signing a three-year deal with the Patriots, he is set to be the top target in the offense for second-year QB Drake Maye, and it's looking more like he'll be ready to step right into that role in Week 1 since he remains ahead of schedule in his recovery. It's still a significant injury, though, so continue to track Diggs' recovery throughout the preseason. If he is ready to go right out of the gate, he has WR2 upside for fantasy as Maye's primary receiver option in Josh McDaniels' offense.
