When asked if the Pittsburgh Steelers would think about overhauling the current roster to enter a "rebuild" phase after the resignation of long-time head coach Mike Tomlin on Tuesday, owner Art Rooney II said he didn't "like that word," and also said he is "not sure why you waste a year of your life not trying to contend." "The standard is to try to compete to win a championship every year." Rooney and general manager Omar Khan will lead the search to replace Tomlin, and they've already requested to interview Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula and passing-game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase. The Steelers definitely could use a roster rebuild, and the new head coach in the Steel City will have huge shoes to fill after Tomlin didn't have a losing season in any of his 19 years with the organization. The team's next head coach is expected to be tasked with helping to find the next starting quarterback.--Keith Hernandez
