2 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers released linebacker Myles Jack on Thursday, according to a source. It comes on the heels of Jack's third straight season of 100-plus total tackles, as he finished his lone season with the team in 2022 with 104 tackles (61 solo) and three passes defensed in 15 games (13 starts). The 27-year-old limped to the finish line last year due to a groin injury, but it can't be ignored that he's had over 100 total tackles in four of the last five seasons with the Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars. Jack had signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Steelers prior to the 2022 campaign. His fantasy value in IDP leagues is limited because of his lack of sacks and poor coverage abilities.
