Spencer Arrighetti Sharp During Rehab Start
Spencer Arrighetti (thumb) took the mound for a rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi on Saturday. This was his first rehab start since Arrighetti fractured his thumb in early April. It was a solid outing as he tossed three scoreless innings, allowing one hit, and striking out four batters. He'll need a few more rehab starts to build up stamina before being cleared to return to Houston. The expectation is that Arrighetti will be back in the mix around early or mid-August. Fantasy managers in need of pitching help might want to stash Arrighetti on their IL with his return looming.
