2 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he isn't ruling wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) out for a Week 8 matchup against the New York Giants after he was injured in the Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. The team will give Metcalf a couple of days to rest before they re-evaluate him. The good news is that the 24-year-old won't need surgery, but he's still very much in danger of missing at least the upcoming week, if not more. Fantasy managers will want to monitor Metcalf's practice status this week while also having backup options ready to go in case he's inactive next weekend. If he doesn't get cleared, Marquise Goodwin, who caught two touchdowns on Sunday, will have an elevated role yet again alongside Tyler Lockett.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
