Seahawks, Duane Brown Reach Agreement On Reworked Contract
3 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks and offensive tackle Duane Brown reached an agreement on Tuesday on a reworked contract that maxes out at $12 million for this season, according to a source. The deal converts per-game bonuses to guaranteed money, while Brown will also receive an injury protection benefit for 2022. The 36-year-old left tackle sat out all of training camp as he waited for a contract adjustment. We'll have to wait and see if Brown is at the top of his game after sitting out for all of training camp and the preseason, but this news has to be considered a win for the Seahawks and their offense, especially quarterback Russell Wilson.
