Seahawks Defense Plans To Pressure Arizona QB More
4 years agoThe last time the Seattle Seahawks faced the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kyler Murray in Week 7, the second-year QB was 34-for-48 for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Head coach Pete Carroll said the team erred by not calling for more blitzes against Murray in that matchup. Seattle didn't sack Murray once in that game and didn't even hit him once in his 48 dropbacks. Murray also ran 14 times for 67 yards in that contest. The Seahawks didn't have All-Pro safety Jamal Adams in Week 7, but he also played through a shoulder injury last week. Adams is the team's best blitzer, so Seattle will surely look to put more pressure on Murray on Thursday night. Still, the NFL's last-ranked defense will be without Pro Bowl cornerback Shaquill Griffin (hamstring) and should be avoided as a fantasy unit.
