Scotty Miller Won't Play In Week 10
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller (toe) and cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (elbow) won't be activated from Injured Reserve to play in Week 10 against the Washington Football Team. Both players are recovering from long-term injuries but could be back in time for Week 11 against the New York Giants. The Bucs will once again be without Antonio Brown (ankle) and tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) on Sunday, but Chris Godwin (foot), who is listed as questionable, is expected to be active. It means that quarterback Tom Brady will have Mike Evans and Godwin as his primary targets, with Tyler Johnson likely serving as the infrequently used No. 3 pass-catcher. Miller had only two catches for 11 yards on three targets in three games before landing on IR.
