3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (knee) was a limited practice participant this week and is listed as questionable for the Thursday night game against the Washington Football Team in Week 2. As far as we know, Barkley didn't have a setback this week, so he should be good to go on Thursday night after he was eased into the fold in the season-opening loss to the Denver Broncos. In that game, he played only 47.5 percent of the offensive snaps and had just 10 carries for 26 yards. Barkley caught his only target for one yard. Expect the 24-year-old to be somewhat limited again, but he should at least lead this backfield in touches like he did in Week 1. The matchup against a stiff Washington defensive line isn't ideal, either, so consider Barkley more of an RB2/3 in Week 2.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
