San Francisco Giants catcher Sam Huff had a good afternoon on Sunday as he went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two RBI, one run scored, and a walk in the Giants' 5-4 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. The home run was his first of the season, as he has now improved his slash line to .190/.292/.333 in 24 plate appearances. The RBI and run scored were also his first of the season. Huff has spent the last few seasons with the Texas Rangers and has seen limited playing time with only 45 plate appearances in 2023 and four in 2024. The Giants have brought him in to be the backup to Patrick Bailey. So, unless an injury to Bailey occurs or we see Huff getting more consistent playing time, fantasy managers can keep Huff on the waiver wire for now.--Nicho Roessler
