Sam Howell Scores Two Rushing Touchdowns In Blowout Loss
1 year agoWashington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell completed 12-of-23 passes for 127 yards and an interception along with four carries for 21 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. As most expected, Washington got beat down by the Dolphins. There was the hope that garbage time production could come into play for the Commanders, but that even failed to occur as this offense was humiliated in most aspects of this game. Howell saved his day with two rushing touchdowns, but he also threw a pick-6, his third in three straight games. With an upcoming bye in Week 14, the second-year quarterback will regroup and hope to improve in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams.
