4 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold (shoulder) will miss the Week 11 game against the Chargers, according to head coach Adam Gase. In his place, Joe Flacco will make his fourth start of the season. The veteran signal-caller has gone 59-for-104 for 659 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in four games (three starts) for Gang Green this year and has arguably played better than Darnold. There's a good chance that Darnold will be ready in Week 12, but fantasy managers have seen no evidence to treat him as anything more than a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues in 2020. The 23-year-old first-round pick hasn't played since Week 8. Similarly, Flacco is a desperation QB2 play despite almost leading the Jets to their first win in Week 9.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
