The New Orleans Saints converted $1,354,235 of defensive end Marcus Davenport's salary into a bonus with three voidable years on Saturday, creating $1,083,388 in salary cap space. It comes after the team also converted $847,376 of recently acquired cornerback Bradley Roby's salary into a bonus, which created $677,901 in salary cap space. Davenport was recently placed on Injured Reserve after injured his shoulder in the Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. Depending on how his rehab goes, the pass-rusher could be back by Week 5 against the Washington Football Team. Carl Granderson and Tanoh Kpassagnon figure to see more playing time with Davenport sidelined. The Saints defense is firmly on the streaming map heading into their Week 2 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
