4 years agoNew Orleans Saints linebacker Kwon Alexander (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles in the Christmas Day win over the Vikings on Friday and will miss the rest of the season, according to a source. Alexander was traded to New Orleans from San Francisco this year and recorded 27 total tackles, four passes defensed, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in seven games with New Orleans. The former fourth-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2015 wasn't on the IDP map this season but will be a loss for the interior of the Saints Defense as they look to make a Super Bowl run after winning the NFC South on Friday. Despite Alexander's loss, the Saints defense will remain a fine fantasy option for those still playing for something in Week 17 against the Panthers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
