Ryon Healy Elects Free Agency
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Ryon Healy has opted for free agency after refusing an outright assignment off their 40-man roster to Triple-A San Antonio. The 28-year-old played in only four regular season games for Milwaukee this year and hit .143 with no home runs, runs or RBI. Healy went 0-for-3 in the second game of the wild-card series loss to the Dodgers. He has hit .261 with 69 home runs and 214 RBI in 405 career games and has mainly played first or third base. Healy hit 25 long balls for the A's in 2017 and homered 24 times for the Mariners in 2018.
