1 year agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have yet to list a starter for Wednesday's contest against the Arizona Diamondbacks, but it would be right-hander Ryan Pepiot's day to pitch. Pepiot served as the team's 27th man for a doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians last week and was sent back to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, but he's eligible to return to the big-league club this week as a spot starter. The 26-year-old got a late start this year due to an injury, but he's only allowed two earned runs while striking out 11 and walking only one in nine innings over two relief appearances for the Dodgers in 2023. Pepiot has also been good at Oklahoma City and could stick in the starting rotation the rest of the way for the Dodgers, making him worth a pickup in deeper fantasy leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
