Royce Freeman Doesn't Have Standalone Value In Week 17
Royce Freeman combined with rookie Levante Bellamy in a Week 16 loss to the Chargers to back up Melvin Gordon III with Phillip Lindsay on Injured Reserve. That should once again be the case in the Week 17 regular season finale against the division-rival Raiders. However, neither Freeman nor Bellamy are on the fantasy radar after combining for just five carries and 27 yards on the ground and three catches for 12 yards in the passing game last week. Freeman hasn't seen more than eight carries in a single game in 2020 as the No. 3 back for much of the year. The 24-year-old has totaled just 149 rushing yards and no touchdowns on 33 carries in 15 games. In a meaningless game, we wouldn't be surprised if the rookie Bellamy got more run behind Gordon.
