Robert Covington Bounces Back With a Double-Double
7 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington did a little more for owners than they've become used to on Thursday, posting a double-double against the Cavs in a big win. Covington sank two triples in Cleveland to finish with 10 points in the contest, shooting a not so hot 4-for-11 from the field in the process. On a positive note, Covington pulled down 10 boards in this one, which is the most he's had since December. He also gave owners some low scale across-the-board production, as he added one assist, one steal, one block and one turnover in his team-high 40 minutes. It's a step in the right direction for RoCo and with some luck, he could get his stride back if he keeps at it. Look for Covington to put his best foot forward on Friday as the Sixers head back to Philly to meet the Hornets at home.
