Riley Greene Sitting Thursday
Riley Greene will not be in Thursday's lineup for their series finale with the Chicago White Sox. It's a regular (sparse) day off for the former first-round pick, who has started all but two games thus far in 2025. Teammate Zach McKinstry is manning left field and batting sixth in his stead. Greene has recorded a hit in four straight games with three multi-hit outings in that stretch. He's taken a step back this season regarding his plate discipline, but has also slashed a crisp .283/.336/.506 with 13 home runs, 14 doubles, 42 RBI, and 32 runs scored. The 24-year-old stands an excellent chance to eclipse the personal-best mark of 24 homers he set a year ago.
