Riley Greene Homers, Knocks in Four in Win
Riley Greene homered and drove in four runs to help the club to an 11-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Friday. Greene hadn't gone deep since May 30, but he ended a 12-game dry spell with a 426-foot bomb off starter Nick Martinez in the bottom of the third inning. The 24-year-old also doubled during a 2-for-4 night. He's now batting .279/.334/.498 with 14 HRs, 48 RBI, and 34 runs scored over 287 plate appearances. While Greene is striking out at a lofty 31.4% clip, he's on pace to eclipse the career-high marks in HRs (24) and RBI (74) he established last year. The lefty-swinging Greene is a must-start for fantasy managers against right-handed pitchers. He'll face Reds righty Brady Singer on Saturday.
