Rashaad Penny Loses Weight
Rashaad Penny, the team's first-round pick in 2018, has lost weight this offseason and is feeling great. Penny is also being mentored by Hall of Fame running back and fellow San Diego State alumni Marshall Faulk. The 23-year-old Penny showed signs of being a stud in his rookie season, running 85 times for 419 yards (4.9 average) and two scores. With Chris Carson being very injury-prone, Penny could easily break out if he sees enough touches in his sophomore campaign. Carson is already sitting out offseason practices after offseason surgery, so Penny has been working with the starters. He has true breakout potential in 2019.
