Randall Cobb Has Surgery, Will Miss Several Games
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb suffered a core muscle injury in the Week 12 win over the Los Angeles Rams that required surgery, according to a source. The Packers now think he'll miss several games, and the hope is that he can return in time for the playoffs. Cobb was having one of his best games of the season when he was injured, catching four passes for 95 yards and a touchdown. He ranks third on the team with 28 catches and is second in receiving yards with 375 while also tying Davante Adams with five touchdowns. The 31-year-old can probably be dropped in deeper leagues now that he could miss the rest of the regular season. In his absence, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard become more attractive as secondary weapons for quarterback Aaron Rodgers behind Adams.
