Raiders Sign Daniel Carlson To Four-Year Extension
3 years agoThe Las Vegas Raiders signed kicker Daniel Carlson to a four-year, $18.5 million contract extension on Wednesday that includes $10.2 million guaranteed, according to a source. Carlson is now the NFL's third-highest paid kicker. The 26-year-old former fifth-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2018 is the No. 2 fantasy kicker through 13 weeks of the season. He has made 27 of his 30 field-goal attempts (90%) and has missed just two of his 25 extra-point tries for the Raiders. Carlson made 94% of his 35 field-goal attempts in 2020, too. The Raiders could be chasing points on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, but Carlson should remain a top-10 fantasy option at the position.
