Emmett looked lost in this fight as Vallejos completely dominated him with his striking. After getting dropped with a stiff right hand, Emmett got back on his feet, but Vallejos kept the pressure on and swarmed Emmett with punches and elbows, forcing the referee to stop the fight. In 3:33 of action, Emmett had one takedown attempt and landed only three significant strikes. As soon as the fight started, Vallejos pressured Emmett and kept on punishing him with ferocious striking. It didn't take long for Vallejos to knock down Emmett with a stiff right hand as the pair exchanged in the centre of the cage, and Vallejos eventually overwhelmed Emmett, who turtled up, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
