Source: PGA Tour
Akshay Bhatia has been trending upward, recording five top-30 finishes in his last seven events. He currently sits 44th in the FedEx Cup standings, putting him comfortably inside the playoff picture as the season heads into its final week. He'll look to keep that momentum going at the Wyndham Championship, where he has competed four times but missed the cut in each appearance. Success at Sedgefield hinges on accuracy off the tee, solid approach play, and overall consistency. Bhatia ranks 40th in total strokes gained at plus-0.644 per round, 55th in driving accuracy, and 60th in greens in regulation. He also converts birdies at a high rate, ranking 12th on tour at 24.59%. Additionally, he sits in the 86th percentile in proximity from 150 to 200 yards, a range that accounted for over 40% of approach shots here last year. Course history isn't on his side, but his recent form and strong fit for the layout give him a solid chance to turn things around.Aaron Rai Finishes Tied For 34th at Open Championship

Source: PGA Tour
Through his hard work and countless exemptions into Signature Events, Jordan Spieth finds himself on the top 50 bubble with one regular-season event remaining. The 32-year-old isn't missing many cuts in the full-field events he decides to tee it up in, but he isn't finishing anywhere near the lead most times, either. Anyone who has seen the former Texas Longhorn play golf knows accuracy is rarely in his recipe, but he continues to post solid strokes gained ball striking metrics nonetheless. He ranks 32nd in par-4 birdie or better rate (18.69%) and 18th in strokes gained tee to green (+0.866). It's time for Spieth to prove his insertions into the PGA Tour's biggest events this season were worth the backlash. Look for him to have a productive week heading into the playoffs.Matt Fitzpatrick Finishes Tied For Fourth at Open Championship

Source: Data Golf
Sitting at 72nd on the FedEx Cup points list, the race is on for Keith Mitchell, who needs to find a way to jump two more spots to crack the top 70 and comfortably know where he stands for next season. His short game has been a real detriment since his missed cut at the PGA Championship, averaging -0.717 strokes gained around the green in his starts since. It will be interesting to see if his lowly 59.39% driving accuracy will offset his 17th ranking in strokes gained off the tee (+0.485), given the quirkiness of Sedgefield's layout. However, the 33-year-old has the third-highest strokes gained off the tee numbers here of anyone else in the field (+1.201) over his last 14 rounds. Expect Killa Keith to give it a run this week, and being along for the ride might not be a bad option.Robert MacIntyre is the Perfect Kind of Ball-Striker for Wyndham Championship
Source: Data Golf
From a tee to green perspective, Robert MacIntyre is a great fit for Sedgefield Country Club, home of this week's Wyndham Championship. He is deadly accurate, ranking 33rd in greens in regulation (69.04%) and 51st in driving accuracy (62.39%). The problem lies in his frequency of making birdies, and how low he can take his scores should it turn into another -18 under or more winning score. Putting let him down early in the year, but has resurged to average +0.507 over his last seven starts. If that continues, along with the ability to carve up courses off the tee, MacIntyre could again be a name to watch this week.Michael Kim Needs More Solid Finishes
Source: PGA Tour
Things have cooled off for Michael Kim since his rampant play in February and March, which saw him have five straight finishes inside the top 15, with two of them being top-five finishes. He is just on the outside of the top-30 group on the FedEx Cup list, so a decent run over the next couple of events could end his season on a high note. The 32-year-old has a long history at the Wyndham Championship, but a random T5 in 2023 is his only solid finish in seven appearances. His approach play (0.373 strokes gained average) is the only thing that makes him slightly intriguing as a DFS option. If trends mean anything, at least we are returning to a putting surface that has proven to be more suited to Kim's game. The confidence level in Kim has wavered, but he still makes a decent dart-throw option.
