1 week agoZach Reese (6-1) will make the walk to the Octagon for the second time on the main card of UFC Louisville on Saturday. Reese will be taking on Julian Marquez and heading into the bout, DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,900 as he's a slight underdog. Reese is coming off a slam KO loss in his UFC debut back in December. Turcios and Rosas Jr. were set to fight back in February but on the day of the event, Rosas Jr. fell ill and the fight was canceled. Heading into the rebooking, Turcios is still the underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $6,900. Turcios won TUF 29 to get into the UFC and in the promotion, he's 2-1 with all three of his fights going to decision. If Turcios can pull off the upset and beat Rosas Jr. on Saturday, he could be a win or two away from a ranked opponent.Source: UFC

The two were scheduled to fight in Mexico City back in February, but the fight was canceled on the day of the event due to Rosas Jr. falling ill. The two are now rebooked at UFC Louisville and Rosas Jr. enters the bout as the favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $9,300. In the UFC, Rosas Jr. is 2-1, while the 19-year-old has won both of his fights by stoppage. If Rosas Jr. can get past Turicos he could be a win away from a ranked opponent.Source: UFC

Jacoby is coming off a competitive decision loss to Alonzo Menifield back in December as he's 1-3 in his last four. Despite coming off a loss and being 1-3 in his last four, Jacoby enters the bout as a sizeable favorite as DraftKings has him at a salary of $9,000. In the UFC, Jacoby is 7-5-1 with four wins by knockout while he's only been finished once in his UFC tenure. If Jacoby can get back into the win column against Reyes, a top-10 opponent could be next for him.Source: UFC

Reyes is set to return in the co-main event of UFC Louisville against Dustin Jacoby. Reyes enters the fight on a four-fight losing streak and has been knocked out in his last three fights which forced him to take time off. Entering the fight against Jacoby, Reyes is a sizeable underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,200. In the UFC, Reyes is 6-4 with four wins by stoppage while three of his four losses have come by knockout. Despite a valiant effort by Poirier, Makhachev's elite grappling proved the difference as the Russian fighter sank in a D'arce choke, forcing Poirier to submit in the fifth round. In 22:42 of action, Poirier landed 74 significant strikes. This was potentially Poirier's final opportunity to claim undisputed UFC gold as he hinted at this being his final fight. On Saturday night, these two warriors put on a show that certainly lived up to the hype. Much to the surprise of many, the fight made it to the fifth round as Poirier pushed for the finish, but Makhachev managed to take him down and sink in the D'arce choke. 2 weeks agoAfter two consecutive defeats to Michael 'Venom' Page and Jack Della Maddalena, Kevin Holland got back in the win column, earning a first-round technical submission stoppage over Michal Oleksiejczuk by gruesomely snapping his arm with an armbar in their UFC 302 contest. After a brief exchange, Holland attempted a leg kick and got dropped by a nasty left hand. In a scramble, Holland got ahold of Oleksiejczuk's arm and locked in an armbar for an extended period, seemingly breaking or dislocating Oleksiejczuk's arm, forcing Herb Dean to step in. Oleksiejczuk caught Holland with a nasty left hand and dropped him. Holland sprawled and immediately landed an armbar. Even after Holland broke his arm, Oleksiejczuk refused to tap, making Herb Dean stop the fight. In 94 seconds of action, Oleksiejczuk landed eight significant strikes. 2 weeks agoElizeu Zaleski Dos Santos suffered a unanimous decision loss to Randy Brown on the main card of UFC 302 on Saturday. Zaleski dos Santos was 2-0-1 in his last three, with the draw coming in November against Rinat Fakhretdinov. He proved a tough test for Brown, who nearly got submitted in the second round. Ultimately, his effort wasn't enough, as Brown took the first and second rounds, cutting Zaleski dos Santos with knees along the way. 2 weeks agoRandy Brown extended his win streak to three with a hard-fought decision win over Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos at UFC 302 on Saturday. Brown was coming off a first-round knockout win against Muslim Salikhov and in the first round, Brown had a ton of success outstriking 34-to-9. In the second round, however, dos Santos had nearly four minutes of control and nearly got a submission win. After dropping the second round, Brown took over in the third round as he outstruck the Brazilian 25-to-14 to get the decision win. With the win, Brown improved to 13-5 in the UFC and should get a ranked opponent next.Source: UFC
2 weeks agoAlex Morono suffered a decision loss to Niko Price at UFC 302. Morono entered the fight as the betting favorite, and he had a good first round as he outstruck Price 34-to-16 and had Price in a submission attempt. However, after the first round, Morono - who took the fight on short notice - began to slow down and Price took over. Morono was outstruck in the final two rounds to drop a decision. With the loss, Morono is now 13-7 and one NC in the UFC and has alternated wins and losses in his last five fights.Source: UFC

Price entered the fight as the underdog as he was 1-3 in his last four and in the first round, he struggled as Morono had him in a submission attempt. After the first round, Price took over as Morono looked to slow down as he outstruck Morono 34-to-21 in the second round and 58-to-41 in the third round to get the decision win. With the victory, Price is now 16-7 and 2 NC and is now 8-7 and 2 NC in the UFC as the win at UFC 302 likely saved his job.Source: UFC
2 weeks agoPaulo Costa suffered a split decision loss to Sean Strickland in the co-main event of UFC 302. Costa was coming off a decision loss to Robert Whittaker back in February and early on, Costa had success as he outstruck Strickland in the first two rounds. However, the Brazilian appeared to slow down as Strickland began to up his pressure and took over in the later rounds. Costa was outstruck in the final three rounds and was outstruck 182-to-158 over the five rounds to drop a decision. With the loss, Costa is now 14-4 as a pro and 6-4 in the UFC while being 1-4 in his last five fights. The Brazilian will likely need to fight someone ranked behind him after UFC 302.Source: UFC
2 weeks agoSean Strickland improved to 29-6 with a split decision win over Paulo Costa at UFC 302. Strickland was fighting for the first time since losing his middleweight title back in January and he used his jab to piece up Costa. As the fight went on, Strickland began to take over as he upped his volume and pressure. Strickland ended up outstriking Costa 182-to-158 as he edged out the decision win. With the victory, Strickland could be getting another crack at the UFC's middleweight title next time out.Source: UFC
