Blackhawks Not Planning A Reunion With Patrick Kane

Chicago Blackhawks legend Patrick Kane is unlikely to return to the team. Kane, who left the Windy City last year, is set for unrestricted free agency this offseason, but it looks like he won't receive any offers from the Blackhawks. "I think we made some really tough decisions on some longstanding players," said Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson at the recent NHL Draft Combine. "I don't foresee us going back on that." After recovering from hip surgery, Kane skated with the Detroit Red Wings this season, posting 20 goals and 47 points in 50 appearances. The 35-year-old proved that he can still do the business in the league and should draw quite a bit of interest on the open market.
