2 weeks agoBaltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins ran for 62 yards on 13 carries and caught four out of his five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown. The 24-year-old stated that he was going to put the team on his back and for a while, he did just that. Dobbins was a reinvigorated runner ever since a Week 14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. He continued to get healthier as the season went on and he looks like he could bounce back next season as a low-end RB1 over the entire fantasy football year.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley amassed 226 yards two touchdowns and one interception while completing 17 out of 29 passes and gained 54 yards on nine carries. The 24-year-old was turning in a great game until a late fumble at the goal line when trying to stretch the ball across turned into a defensive touchdown for the Bengals. This game was a stark difference compared to the other four games that he started under center during the regular season. Huntley's magic, as well as the offense's, ran out right after that fumble. Unless another team wants to take a chance on Huntley, he'll likely return to Lamar Jackson's backup in Baltimore.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoThe defense of the New York Giants allowed 24 points to the Minnesota Vikings in the team's impressive road victory on Sunday. While the Giants allowed 273 passing yards and two touchdowns to Kirk Cousins, the defense held strong late in the game when the team needed it the most. Despite not getting any sacks, New York's defense was able to prevent Minnesota's offense from driving down the field and forcing overtime on the final drive of the game. After limiting the Vikings to 24 points on the road on Sunday, the Giants will face a stiff task in trying to contain the Philadelphia Eagles next week.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoNew York Giants kicker Graham Gano was able to convert his lone field-goal attempt in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants didn't need the experienced kicker to do much in the upset victory on the road aside from making one field goal and four extra-point tries. With his one field goal in the Wild Card round, the 35-year-old has now made eight consecutive field goals in his last five games. Ahead of a tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round, the Giants will need Gano to continue being efficient in the kicking game.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoNew York Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger hauled in both of his targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win against the Minnesota Vikings. The San Diego State product remains a touchdown-dependent tight end as his red-zone usage is the only reason he's viable in DFS or any other fantasy football format right now. The rookie tight end scored his first touchdown since Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round. After catching a crucial touchdown versus the Vikings on Sunday, Bellinger will look to continue his success in the red zone in the team's upcoming matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught four passes for 88 yards on eight targets in Sunday's upset victory over the Minnesota Vikings. The Auburn product continues to operate as a vertical threat for the Giants, averaging 22 yards per reception against the Vikings on Sunday. The big-play wideout now has 58-plus receiving yards in seven of his last 10 games and he would've had more on Sunday if he didn't drop a late-game pass from Daniel Jones. While the drop from Slayton didn't cost the Giants in the Wild Card round, they'll need him to make big plays against the Philadelphia Eagles next week.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
Share:
2 weeks agoNew York Giants wide receiver Isaiah Hodgins hauled in eight of his nine targets for 105 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's impressive win versus the Minnesota Vikings. The former sixth-round pick led the Giants in receptions, receiving yards, and targets in the Wild Card round. The 24-year-old has emerged as a go-to target for Daniel Jones and he's now caught a touchdown in five of his last six appearances. If the Giants want to pull off another upset on the road, they'll need Hodgins to continue playing at a high level in next week's Divisional Round matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
Share:
2 weeks agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley recorded 53 rushing yards and two touchdowns on nine carries while he also caught five passes for 56 yards in Sunday's impressive win against the Minnesota Vikings. The dynamic back instantly made his presence felt in Sunday's contest with a long rushing touchdown and despite not getting a ton of rushing attempts, he was efficient with his touches. Even though Barkley was productive with the touches he got in the first round of the playoffs, the Giants will likely want to get him more involved in next week's Divisional Round showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed 24 of his 35 attempts for 301 yards and two touchdowns while he also rushed for 78 yards on 17 carries in Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants were underdogs entering Sunday's game, but the former first-round pick delivered an impressive performance to get New York to the next round of the playoffs. The 25-year-old quarterback has now eclipsed 300 passing yards in two matchups versus the Vikings in the last four weeks. After facing a dismal defense of the Vikings, Jones will be tasked with going up against a formidable defense of the Philadelphia Eagles next week.--Skyler Carlin - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoMiami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders went 2-for-2 on extra points and 3-for-3 on field goals during Sunday's playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. Sanders converted from 37, 40, and 48 yards out. Miami's offense took major strides in 2022, and so did Sanders, who demonstrated improved accuracy time and time again. The 27-year-old contract is structured in a way that would allow the Dolphins to release him for relatively cheap, but given his strong campaign, that's unlikely to happen. Sanders has a cap number of $3.8 million in 2023 and will likely remain in Miami for the final four years of his contract. Consider him a top-12 kicker in fantasy football next season.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 weeks agoThe Miami Dolphins' defense played surprisingly strong football despite losing to the Buffalo Bills during the Wild Card Round on Sunday. Miami registered a whopping seven sacks, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, and one touchdown throughout the contest. Zach Sieler (two sacks, four QB hits, one TFL, one fumble recovery, one touchdown) and Jevon Holland (nine interceptions, one tackle) led the way for the Dolphins. This unit ranked outside the top 12 in 2022 and will look to get stronger throughout the upcoming offseason.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 weeks agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle hauled in three of seven targets for 44 yards during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. Waddle struggled to haul in several catchable passes, so although he played well toward the end of the game, this was ultimately an underwhelming outing from the second-year receiver. With Miami's elimination from the playoffs, Waddle's season is officially over. It was an up-and-down year for the 24-year-old and his fellow pass-catchers who had to deal with inconsistent quarterback play amidst injuries to Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) and Teddy Bridgewater (finger). Assuming Tagovailoa is good to go for 2023, Waddle, who proved that he can co-exist alongside Tyreek Hill, could return to the low-end WR1 tier in fantasy football leagues next season.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 weeks agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki hauled in two of six targets for 15 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. Much like his fellow pass-catchers, Gesicki struggled to form a rapport with third-string quarterback Skylar Thompson. However, he salvaged his performance by scoring a touchdown for the second time over the last three weeks. Despite a strong end to the season, this was a tough year for Gesicki, whose 32 catches and 362 yards were his lowest marks since he was a rookie in 2018. He is scheduled to hit free agency in March and could quite possibly find a new home for next season and beyond.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

2 weeks agoMiami Dolphins running back Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed 10 times for 23 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. Wilson also hauled in one of four targets for an additional 13 yards through the air. The 27-year-old was inefficient on the ground and not a key factor in the passing game, but he did salvage his outing by finding the end zone. Going forward, Wilson is scheduled to hit free agency in March but could be a candidate to re-sign with the Dolphins. After all, his relationship with head coach Mike McDaniel dates back to their time together in San Francisco. Beyond Wilson, the Dolphins' backfield could also lose Raheem Mostert (unrestricted free agent) and Salvon Ahmed (restricted free agent) in the coming months.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
Share:
2 weeks agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed turned five targets into three catches for 45 yards during Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. He was less productive in the rushing game, totaling just three yards on the ground over the course of five carries. With Miami eliminated from the playoffs, Ahmed's season is over. Going forward, the 24-year-old has earned more touches and figures to compete for a backup role next season, especially with Raheem Mostert (thumb) and Jeff Wilson Jr. both headed for free agency. Ahmed himself will become a restricted free agent in March, meaning the Dolphins could extend a qualifying offer that increases the likelihood of him returning to Miami.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller
